Dinner guest details Britney Spears’ ‘erratic outbursts’ at LA restaurant: ‘She was a nuisance’
A dinner guest has shared a detailed account of what he described as Britney Spears’ “erratic outbursts” during a recent evening at a Los Angeles restaurant, claiming the pop star’s behavior caused disruption and concern among patrons.
Jeff Sneider, an entertainment reporter who spoke exclusively to Page Six, said he witnessed Spears, 44, behaving unusually during a Wednesday night visit to Blue Dog Tavern in Sherman Oaks.
According to Sneider, Spears initially entered the restaurant with two companions wearing sunglasses, making it difficult for him and others nearby to immediately recognize her.

“The woman sat down and proceeded to make a lot of woofing or barking noises and just throw a lot of outbursts,” Sneider alleged, describing the early moments of the dinner.
He said it was only after she removed her sunglasses that he realized it was the global pop icon.
Sneider claimed Spears frequently stood up and sat back down during the meal and appeared restless throughout the evening. At one point, he alleged she was holding a knife while adjusting her silverware, though he clarified he did not feel directly threatened.
“I wasn’t threatened or anything like that,” he said, but added that the experience was “definitely chaotic” for those seated nearby.
Another diner reportedly told Sneider they felt uncomfortable, claiming Spears had moved toward their table while holding a knife. However, Sneider himself said he did not witness any violent intent.
He further alleged that Spears lit a cigarette inside the restaurant, prompting staff to intervene and ask her group to put it out.
Despite the alleged disruptions, Sneider said Spears ate casually, picking at a burger and fries and occasionally interacting with her companions.
“She was in rough shape last night, and it was hard for me and my friend to carry on a conversation,” he added.
Sneider also claimed that food was left scattered on and under the table, describing the scene as messy when the group eventually left.
The account contrasts with statements from Spears’ representative, who strongly denied any dangerous behavior. The rep said the situation had been “completely blown out of proportion.”
“Britney was enjoying a quiet dinner with her assistant and bodyguard. She was simply telling the story about how her dog was barking at the neighbors,” the statement said.
The rep also rejected claims that Spears posed any threat, insisting she was “simply cutting her hamburger in half” when she was seen with a knife.
The incident follows earlier reports suggesting Spears had recently been adjusting to life after completing a rehabilitation program, with sources close to the singer previously stating she was “doing really well” and focusing on a fresh start.
As of now, neither Spears nor her team has issued further public comments beyond the initial statement.
